Two Houston adult entertainment clubs this week agreed to settle a federal age discrimination case with a former waitress who alleged younger, male managers called her "old" and said she showed symptoms of memory loss. The owners of Centerfolds and Cover Girls agreed to pay $60,000 to Mary Bassi. She was 56 when she was fired in 2006 "without provocation or explanation," according to a lawsuit the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission filed on Bassi's behalf.

And in some cases Kennedy says the dancers must pay the club a fee and share their tips with club employees like managers and disc jockeys. By not paying the dancers one single cent the owners of Gold Cup, Treasures, Cover Girls and Centerfolds are violating the Fair Labor Standards Act according to a lawsuit filed against the clubs. That lawsuit claims these clubs should be paying dancers at least minimum wage in addition to the tips they receive and overtime for working more than 40 hours a week.

Review: I would stay away from Holly and Allura. You wouldn't believe some of the low-lives they've been with.
Holly is maybe 5'5, has long blonde hair, and works day and night. She worked at Treasures and went by Chloe. She's originally from California.
Allura is short, has long blonde hair, and works day and night as well. She's from Louisiana and has worked at Treasures too.
They're both on the thick side. The managers should get rid of them before they bring the club down further.
Pros: Some decent-looking girls. Good location.
Cons: The upstairs is closed when it could be used easily.

Review: I can see this place going out of business soon. The managers don't do anything and let ghetto types in and act up. They play a lot of R&B which makes the atmosphere bad. The girls aren't great at all. A lot of girls seem to have quit...probably because of the ghetto and lowlife types that come in.

Cons: music, ghetto customers, managers

Review: We have been there a few times. In our experience its hit or miss. One time you could get a good waitress, and nice drama free bi-curious dancers. While the next time, your waitress seems to disappear, and you get older dancers that want to talk about their problems, and waste your time. However if you like a club where you can just lay back and people watch its very nice.
Pros: Excellent food, Good Music, Cozy booths giving you a little more privacy with the dancers
Cons: Drink prices are high ( like most clubs in Houston ), Some of the dancers / waitresses need some courses in hosting guests, as customer service can lack greatly depending on who you get.
